Born 1956 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Works in Tel Aviv.

Started her artistic practice after many years of legal work, first as a lawyer and then as a judge.

Her artistic investigation focuses on questions of uncertainty, fragility and lack of control in realms of body, self, impulses and power relations.

Mainly concentrating on printmaking, she uses this medium in unorthodox methods she adapted and developed by herself. These methods enable her to work in printmaking in the studio, retain a sense of play and be free of traditions and constraints usually connected to classic printmaking.

The artistic techniques preferred (printmaking, watercolours) are such that prevent the artist from having full control over the outcome. In these techniques, external forces interfere in the work process (the pressure of the press, the absorption of water) and render it uncertain and unpredictable, thus, in a way, the technics relate to the questions investigated.
