BLACK SEA
All eight parts of this installation were printed from two plates that were initially covered by Carborundum gel. The gel was gradually scrubbed away using sand paper, and the evolving stages of this process were recorded periodically by inking the plates and printing them. The resulting prints were further processed in collagraph and trace monotype, and then combined to create the complete installation.
